About Me
I love seeing my students develop a love for music. That in itself is one of the main reasons I teach. No matter how long they’ve been playing or what their skill level, I want my students to enjoy playing their instrument. I want to help them increase their appreciation for music, piano and performance. I like to focus on what the student wants to learn, and build a curriculum to help them achieve their goals.

I offer different classes in the summer to focus on certain aspects of music including theory, jazz, rock, composition and more!
I wanted to locate a teacher who is passionate about music and actively seeks playing it as an important part of his life. Mike plays in jazz bands, plays at his church and enjoys his contact with his students. My six year old son says Mike makes playing music “easy and fun.” My son wishes he could have a piano lesson every day..”
